Can you make the max hold gel or just another gel without any oil in it? I have sensitive skin and it breaks me out. I used to love the original max hold formula I wish you just continued that product with the original formula it was perfect.

Asked by: KY01
Thank you for contacting The Village Company. The La Bella Max hold and Super Hold gels have always had the avocado and coconut oils in them it's just that we updated our labels and called these hero ingredients out. We hope you will give them a try.

Hi, your products are vegan or cruelty free???

Asked by: Katy
Hello and thank you for contacting The Village Company. . Neither our finished products, nor any ingredients or chemicals, are tested on animals. We have extremely high quality standards, as do the companies that supply our ingredients. We choose to only support suppliers that are in line with our beliefs, and therefore trust no animal testing is occurring on ingredients we order.

Are you still making Freeze Hold Styling Gel with placenta extract? It was the best product on the market. Only ebay is selling a container of it for $24. Tried your coconut brand and avocado brand. It is awful.

Asked by: BooHoo
Hello and thank you for contacting us. This particular product was discontinued right after we acquired the La Bella brand a few years ago due to very minimal distribution. We do have the La Bella Extreme Sport product at Target that you might prefer.

Do you still make the "Super Spikes" hair gel? If not, what is the replacement product currently in stock?

Asked by: conquermath
Hello. I am sorry but the La Bella Super Spikes hair gel was discontinued before we acquired the brand 2 1/2 years ago. It has not been replaced but we do have other styling gels that work great as noted on this website. Thanks!

Do you guys still have the original max hold with wheat and oat protiens, not the one with avocado oil?

Asked by: Kerwin
Thank you for contacting The Village Company. We have made some changes to the Max Hold formula and do not offer both versions any longer. The new updated packaging and formula with the avocado oil is the only one we have currently.

You did not answer my first question. It was, "Are you still making the original Max Hold formula?" Perhaps it always had avocado oil and it was not emphasized before? My friend would like to know if the product is reformulated.

Asked by: Carol
We are no longer making the old formula of La Bella Max Hold Hair Gel. The new one is very similar and we did add Avocado Oil to the formula to smooth hair strands without adding weight. I am sure she will find that it performs as well if not better.

Are you still making the original Max Hold formula? I have been helping an elderly friend buy this product online since she can no longer get it in the stores that she regularly shops at. Which of the ingredients listed is the avocado oil???

Asked by: Carol
Hello and thank you for contacting The Village Company. We just updated our website to show that indeed the Max Hold La Bella Hair Gel has Avocado Oil listed as third ingredient. Our website has where to buy and product locator if you need help finding it. Thanks!
